Obedience or Sacrifice? |

"To obey is better than
sacrifice." God wants us to love him more than he wants
anything else. And we're told in the New Testament that if we love
him, we'll obey him (1 John 2:3).
Mark 12:33 says: "To love him with all your heart ... is more
important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
"Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much
as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat
rams." - 1 Samuel 15:22
